Unleashing Unknown Potential! NIJIN Afterschool
The online afterschool program “NIJIN Afterschool,” operated by NIJIN Inc., is holding a YouTube video production project workshop for elementary and middle school students. This workshop provides a valuable opportunity for children to learn how to create YouTube Shorts, serving as a place where their interests can lead to further learning.
Overview of the Workshop
The workshop will be held on July 7th, 14th, and 28th (all Mondays) from 16:30 to 17:45. It takes place in a metaverse space, connecting participants online. The target audience is elementary and middle school students, and participation is free. However, since the workshop has a capacity limit of 10 people, please register early here if you wish to attend.
A Learning Space Created by Children
The greatest appeal of NIJIN Afterschool is that it is a space where children themselves create the learning experience. They produce original illustrations and game commentary videos, which they upload to YouTube. Additionally, with professional guidance, they are engaging in Vtuber activities and game development using Scratch. Their works are already being shared with audiences worldwide.
Project-Based Learning That Fosters Curiosity
At NIJIN Afterschool, elementary and middle school students from across the country gather after school to engage in project activities that bring their ideas to life. Through this exploratory, project-based learning, children delve deeper into their studies, develop their strengths, and broaden their horizons by connecting with adults in society, expanding their future options. Feedback and Future Outlook
NIJIN Afterschool’s initiative offers elementary and middle school students a rich learning environment that goes beyond mere play or hobbies. The flexible educational content surpasses teachers’ fixed ideas and curriculum constraints, providing an excellent approach to unleash children’s creativity. We hope that by expanding such project-based learning, more children will be able to maximize their potential in an enriching environment.
