Brave group Makes Its Debut at One of China’s Largest Events

Brave group announced that it will participate for the first time in one of China’s largest anime and gaming events, the Firefly ACG EXPO 36th, held in Guangzhou from July 18 to 21, 2025. This large-scale event, ongoing since 2011, attracts over 300,000 visitors across four days and features more than 500 exhibiting companies.

Showcasing the Appeal of VTuber and Anime Culture to a Global Audience

Brave group’s booth will consist of three areas: a merchandise zone, an interactive zone, and an exhibition zone, all designed to deliver the charm of Japanese VTuber and anime culture to attendees from around the world. In the merchandise zone, official goods from talents such as the Chinese-region projects “MUGEN LIVE” and “VSPO!” (“Bobo Esports Project (VSPO! CN)”), as well as “Egous” and “HIMEHINA“, will be available for purchase. Fans can also find popular anime merchandise from series like “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End” and “WIND BREAKER.”

Fan Engagement and Extensive Exhibits

The interactive zone will feature appearances by VTuber talents from MUGEN LIVE, Bobo Esports Project (VSPO! CN), and Egous, offering fans opportunities to connect with their favorite creators. The exhibition zone will showcase panels and video displays of affiliated talents, as well as a message board area, allowing visitors to deeply experience the worlds of Brave group’s VTubers.

Diverse VTuber Projects from Brave group

This debut exhibition will highlight Brave group’s wide range of VTuber projects, including the multilingual VTuber project MUGEN LIVE, which boasts over 3.2 million followers on the Chinese video platform bilibili; the Chinese-region project of VSPO! called Bobo Esports Project (VSPO! CN); and the male VTuber project Egous, which debuted in February 2025. Notably, attention is also drawn to HIMEHINA, whose YouTube channel has surpassed 1 million subscribers and 500 million total views, with their fourth album “Bubblin” scheduled for release in July 2025.

Impressions and Outlook

The news of Brave group making its first appearance at one of China’s largest anime and gaming events marks a significant milestone in spreading Japanese VTuber and anime culture globally. Particularly, Brave group’s initiative to create a space for direct interaction with local fans is crucial in building a global fanbase. Beyond strengthening their presence in the Chinese market, their efforts to promote Japanese content across agency boundaries are expected to contribute to the future growth of the VTuber industry. We look forward to the event’s success and to more people experiencing the appeal of Japanese VTubers and anime.
