VTuber Musical Team Launches Crowdfunding for ‘Alice in Musicland’

Index
Background of Crowdfunding
CrossVision Inc., which spun out from NTT DOCOMO Group’s new business creation program “docomo STARTUP™,” operates V-tamp, a service for selling digital merchandise for fans. Recently, it was announced that the service will launch a crowdfunding campaign titled “V Musical Club ‘Alice in Musicland’ Singing Production Crowdfunding.”
Attractions of the V Musical Club
The “V Musical Club” is a gathering of VTubers with the concept of turning the production process of singing covers into entertainment. They aim to openly share the production process, which is usually hidden, through crowdfunding and work on the project together with their supporters. The song they will be working on for this project is the musical-style Vocaloid track “Alice in Musicland” by OSTER project, which is a grand work consisting of six parts.
Support Tiers and Rewards
The crowdfunding campaign has a target of 400,000 yen for the production of Alice in Musicland and offers various support tiers. Supporters will receive digital goods and physical merchandise, including items featuring VTuber members dressed as Alice characters.
Featured Members
A diverse group of VTubers will participate, including the organizer Mofofo Reia, Sabashiro, Jangarian, Shimoni Rena, Chunchun Koyagi, and Yukiya. Notably, Jangarian will portray Alice and has showcased her singing on the official YouTube channel.
Impressions and Outlook
The initiative of the “V Musical Club” presents a new form of entertainment that transcends the VTuber framework. By sharing the production process and collaborating with supporters, this project is sure to deepen the bond with fans further. I am extremely excited to see how it will materialize in the future. If successful, it will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the development of new fields for VTubers.
