Dwango Co., Ltd. began offering a new voice changer feature, “AI Voice Changer Beta,” on July 28th for the iOS version of their live streaming service, Niconico Live Broadcast. With this feature, users can transform their voices in real-time into their favorite characters’ voices using just a smartphone, making Niconico broadcasts possible. This technology broadens the scope of streaming, providing an enticing option for users who are hesitant to stream with their natural voice or those aiming to debut as VTubers.

This voice changer feature, utilizing Dwango’s unique AI technology, was previously available only on the PC version of “N Air.” The iOS app now makes it accessible with ease, drawing attention as an industry-first initiative. With this feature, users can access over 100 custom voices, including popular characters like “Zundamon,” “Kasugabe Tsumugi,” and “Kotoemi Nia.”
