This event will take place on the Meta Communication service &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/official.metame.ne.jp\/\">MetaMe\u00ae<\/a>&#8220;, developed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.docomo.ne.jp\/\">NTT Docomo Inc.<\/a>, and serves as a platform to deepen connections with fans.<\/p>\n<h3>Purpose and Appeal of the Event<\/h3>\n<p>The &#8220;MetaMate Grand Prix&#8221; is a project where VTubers and their fans collaborate as a single guild to compete for the title of No. 1. The winners will receive rewards equivalent to 1 million yen in activity support, providing a significant opportunity for VTubers to step up their game. Additionally, through this event, participants can deepen their bonds with fans and build new connections.<\/p>\n<h3>Audition Details<\/h3>\n<p>The audition for a spot in the main competition will be held from October 1 to October 19, 2025. The target participants are VTubers aged 18 and over residing in Japan, with a wide call for unique individuals who possess a passion for achieving their dreams. The application method involves reposting the recruitment post on MetaMe&#8217;s official X (<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MetaMe_Official\">@MetaMe_Official<\/a>) and submitting a self-promotion video.<\/p>\n<h3>Main Competition and Schedule<\/h3>\n<p>The 12 successful audition candidates will participate in the main competition, lasting approximately three months starting in December 2025. Participating VTubers will serve as &#8220;guild masters,&#8221; competing alongside their fans across various stages. The guild that accumulates the most &#8220;guild scores&#8221; will ultimately be chosen as the No. 1 guild. The finale event will be held on February 21, 2026, at docomo R&amp;D OPEN LAB ODAIBA.<\/p>\n<h3>Reflections and Outlook<\/h3>\n<p>The MetaMate Grand Prix is an outstanding event that provides VTubers with new challenges and opportunities for growth.
