On January 7, 2026, Live2D Inc. released the latest versions of its official VTuber apps “nizima LIVE” and “nizima LIVE TRACKER”. This update includes various new features such as the “animation data creation function”, “part color change function”, and “real camera background function” to further support users’ creative work.<\/p>\n

Details of New Features<\/h3>\n

Animation Data Creation Function<\/h4>\n

Now you can easily create and save animation data based on the tracking data recorded in “nizima LIVE<\/a>“. This enables smoother creation of animations based on Live2D models. This feature can be accessed from the settings in nizima LIVE.<\/p>\n

Part Color Change Function<\/h4>\n

It is now possible to select specific parts of the Live2D model and change their colors, allowing for more freedom in expression. With this function, you can, for example, change clothing colors or add light effects systematically. For more details, please see here.<\/p>\n

Model Transmission to Mobile<\/h4>\n

You can easily send models from “nizima LIVE” to “nizima LIVE TRACKER”. This feature allows you to carry your models on mobile devices without manual file transfers.<\/p>\n

New Features on Smartphone<\/h3>\n

The latest version of “nizima LIVE TRACKER” now includes a feature that allows you to set a live camera as the background, making it possible to create videos combining real-world footage with Live2D models. This is a convenient feature suitable for recording outings or creating videos for social media. Detailed usage instructions and other features are available on the download site<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Impressions and Outlook<\/h3>\n

We are impressed that this update allows for more diverse and sophisticated Live2D animation production. It is expected to further broaden the range of expression in VTuber and video production.
