Continuing to innovate in 2D illustration technology, Live2D Inc.<\/a> has announced a new project titled \u201cShape the Future<\/a>\u201d to celebrate its 20th anniversary, themed around the future of creators. A key part of this project includes the English version of the theme song being sung by Nerissa Ravencroft (from Hololive English).<\/p>\n

Details and Release of the English Theme Song<\/h3>\n

The English version of \u201cShape the Future\u201d will be released worldwide on music distribution platforms on January 22, 2026. The music video for this song features character design by Canadian creator seica, and modeling and animation by American artist cillia. It will be available on YouTube starting at 1 PM JST on January 23, 2026.<\/p>\n

Background and Outlook of the Project<\/h3>\n

This project encapsulates the major theme of \u201cthe future of creators\u201d as advocated by Live2D. Utilizing Live2D’s technology, it aims to create new content and strategies over the course of approximately one year, building the future together with creators such as artists and designers. Furthermore, following the release of the English version, there are plans to consider the production of versions in other languages.<\/p>\n

Success of the Japanese Version \u201cShape the Future\u201d<\/h3>\n

The Japanese version of \u201cShape the Future<\/a>,\u201d announced on December 12, 2025, has also achieved great success. This version was performed by VTuber Machita Chima from “Nijisanji” and has garnered significant attention. This success is a major driving force for expanding the project globally.<\/p>\n
