(DNP)<\/a> and Metaverse Creators Inc.<\/a> are collaborating to start a demonstration experiment on April 8, 2026, regarding the distribution of 3D items such as avatars and avatar costumes co-created by VTubers and 3D creators. This experiment aims to explore the possibilities of fan interaction through the exhibition and sale of 3D items created jointly by VTubers and 3D creators. DNP will handle planning and effect measurement, while Metaverse Creators will manage the production and operation of virtual spaces on platforms like “VRChat.”<\/p>\n

Background and Aims of the Demonstration Experiment<\/h3>\n

As communication through avatars is becoming mainstream, the production and sale of digital content like 3D models have been rapidly increasing with the expansion of the social VR market. The handling volume in the 3D model category on “BOOTH<\/a>” reached approximately 10.4 billion yen in 2025, achieving about 179% growth compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, VTubers face challenges in the production and monetization of 3D items due to cost and complexity. 3D items and avatars co-created by VTuber “Hinoto Mai,” “Inu Miruku,” and “Mansaya” with 3D creator “DEMITASS-KUN” are sold on “BOOTH<\/a>” and the “VRChat Avatar Marketplace,” and users can use them on “VRChat<\/a>.” DNP will analyze purchasing behavior and usage conditions to explore sustainable revenue opportunities.<\/p>\n

Publication and Utilization of VRChat World<\/h4>\n

Using the “DNP Content Interactive System Midokoro Gallery XR Type<\/a>,” a world for VRChat will be published. This world can be accessed with smartphones as well, providing a venue for interaction with VTubers and 3D items and avatars.<\/p>\n
