The &#8220;Daiichi Gakuin High School e-Sports Online Course&#8221; will commence, allowing students to study e-sports online while learning on the school&#8217;s campus.<\/p>\n<h3>Enabling a Balance Between Learning and Gaming<\/h3>\n<p>This course enables students to take online classes related to e-sports from home while engaging in high school studies at their respective campuses. Through e-sports, students can experience &#8220;making friends,&#8221; &#8220;developing communication skills,&#8221; and even &#8220;challenging themselves in high school tournaments,&#8221; allowing them to compile their strengths into a portfolio. This is believed to aid in the materialization of &#8220;Gakuchika&#8221; (academic knowledge) required during further education and job hunting.<\/p>\n<h3>Course Details and Eligibility<\/h3>\n<p>This three-year course has a capacity of 40 students, with classes scheduled for two sessions a day (60 minutes each), held twice a week. Enrollment in or attendance at <a href=\"https:\/\/konami.jp\/4cc8PSF\">Daiichi Gakuin High School<\/a> is mandatory, as is having an internet environment established at home. The classes will utilize the support software &#8220;Discord,&#8221; and it should be noted that &#8220;home video game consoles cannot be used for attending classes.&#8221; An online group information session is planned for April 29, 2026 (Wed, public holiday), where further details will be provided.<\/p>\n<h3>Expanding Career Possibilities Through e-Sports<\/h3>\n<p>This course, offered by KONAMI e-Sports Academy, supports a wide range of career paths, including e-sports athletes, streamers, game commentators, and writers. Furthermore, support provided by teachers at Daiichi Gakuin High School regarding further education and employment enables choices not only within the e-sports industry but also in various fields.<\/p>\n<h3>Impressions and Outlook<\/h3>\n<p>The incorporation of e-sports into educational settings is transforming games from mere entertainment into practical learning tools. The skills and experiences gained through e-sports can provide advantages in further education and job searching.
