From August 15 to 17, 2025, the Coca-Cola STAGE:0 eSPORTS High-School Championship 2025 Grand Finals will take place at the “Shine Hat” EXPO Hall during the Osaka-Kansai Expo. As Japan’s largest high school eSports tournament, the event will bring together a total of 8,293 participants from across the nation, all vying for the championship title. Admission is free, and no reservation is required.

Featuring Star Guests

To energize the event, popular entertainers such as Tanaka from Ungirls, the comedy duo Arco & Peace, and Akari Nibu will be on-site to cheer on the competitors. The program will also include a flag performance and a dynamic dance show by dip BATTLES, a top team from the “Dai-ichi Life D.LEAGUE.”

Diverse Game Titles and Official Endorsement

The tournament will feature competitions in popular titles such as Valorant, League of Legends, Fortnite, and Overwatch 2. Notably, this marks the first time a domestic eSports tournament in Japan has received official endorsement from the Japan Sports Agency—signaling a growing societal recognition of eSports as a legitimate competitive field.

Expanding Scale with Nationwide Participation

Last year’s event drew 2,322 teams and approximately 13.93 million viewers. This year’s tournament has grown even larger, and with its climactic showdown at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, it is set to draw even greater attention.
