Relic Inc. has started accepting entries today, October 1, 2025, for the support event “MetaMate Grand Prix Vol. 2,” aimed at uniting fans and VTubers to become the No. 1 guild. This event will take place on the Meta Communication service “MetaMe®“, developed by NTT Docomo Inc., and serves as a platform to deepen connections with fans.

Purpose and Appeal of the Event

The “MetaMate Grand Prix” is a project where VTubers and their fans collaborate as a single guild to compete for the title of No. 1. The winners will receive rewards equivalent to 1 million yen in activity support, providing a significant opportunity for VTubers to step up their game. Additionally, through this event, participants can deepen their bonds with fans and build new connections.

Audition Details

The audition for a spot in the main competition will be held from October 1 to October 19, 2025. The target participants are VTubers aged 18 and over residing in Japan, with a wide call for unique individuals who possess a passion for achieving their dreams. The application method involves reposting the recruitment post on MetaMe’s official X (@MetaMe_Official) and submitting a self-promotion video.

Main Competition and Schedule

The 12 successful audition candidates will participate in the main competition, lasting approximately three months starting in December 2025. Participating VTubers will serve as “guild masters,” competing alongside their fans across various stages. The guild that accumulates the most “guild scores” will ultimately be chosen as the No. 1 guild. The finale event will be held on February 21, 2026, at docomo R&D OPEN LAB ODAIBA.
