REJECT Triumphs: Secures Spot in SFL World Championship 2025
REJECT’s Street Fighter division athletes, AngryBird and Big Bird, have earned their place in the “SFL World Championship 2025.” The duo secured their spot after winning the “SFL: Pro-EU 2025 Play-offs” on November 29, competing under Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP).
Victory in the European Playoffs
The Street Fighter League takes place across Japan, the United States, and Europe, with top teams from each region moving on to compete for the world title. Representing Europe as part of NIP, AngryBird and Big Bird finished the regular season in third place out of six teams. Despite this, they powered through the playoffs, defeating WOLVES, AEGIS, and MOUZ to claim the championship. Their victory has secured them a place in the SFL World, scheduled to be held during CAPCOM CUP 12 at Ryōgoku Kokugikan next March.
Two Rising Stars to Watch
AngryBird, a top competitor from the UAE, has built an exceptional track record, including a runner-up finish at EVO Japan 2024 and an undefeated 10–0 performance in SFL EU. Big Bird, also from the UAE, is equally accomplished, with a second-place EVO finish and extensive international tournament experience. Both players are poised for continued success on the global stage.
