Interactive Gaming System ‘THIRD’ Officially Launched for Viewers
Index
On December 1, 2025, UNCHAIN Inc. announced the official release of THIRD, a new game system for streaming that allows viewers to intervene in games in real time. To celebrate the launch, the company is collaborating with 50 popular streamers and running a campaign where viewers can win Amazon gift cards worth a total of ¥300,000.
What is THIRD?
THIRD is designed to let viewers directly influence gameplay during a stream. Through gifting, viewers can increase the number of enemies to hinder players, restore the player’s health, or send special items. This goes beyond traditional “cheering,” creating new forms of cooperation and rivalry between streamers and their audiences.
How Viewers and Streamers Participate
Viewers can join by registering with THIRD and entering a live “room” to enjoy interactive play. Streamers can enable THIRD-compatible games on their live streaming platforms (YouTube, Twitch) to engage in real-time interaction with their audience.
THIRD-Compatible Games
Currently, THIRD is available in titles such as THREAT – SCREAM AND ESCAPE – and Boku ga Oni ne, allowing viewers to intervene in gameplay. In particular, *THREAT – SCREAM AND ESCAPE -* features dramatic horror effects that change dynamically based on viewer interactions, enhancing the tension and excitement of survival gameplay.
Official Release Campaign
To celebrate the official launch, the first campaign includes special streams by 50 popular streamers, as well as giveaways for both viewers and streamers. Participation requires registration on THIRD, and viewers complete their entry by sending THIRD actions during a live stream.
Impressions and Outlook
The release of THIRD has the potential to significantly change how game streaming works. This new form of entertainment, built collaboratively by streamers and viewers, offers a more interactive and dynamic experience. Its bidirectional nature could set a new standard for online communication. In the future, THIRD is expected to support more platforms and game titles, further enriching the gaming experience.
