A Stage for Virtual Interactions Beyond Borders
Razz Production, operated by BET Corporation, announced the invitation of two VTubers from the US to the “Awa VTuber Fest,” hosted by its parent company Asukanet Co., Ltd. Asukanet, which has previously succeeded with the “Orizuru VTuber Fest” in Hiroshima, will hold the second Awa VTuber Fest in Tokushima City on Saturday, February 28th and Sunday, March 1st, 2026.
Introducing Overseas Guests: bkbk_tomoko and Shuu Sakurai
The highlights of this event are the two VTubers invited from the US, bkbk_tomoko and Shuu Sakurai.
bkbk_tomoko is an indie VTuber based in the United States, captivating fans with a variety of content including game commentary, chatting, art streaming, and cover song releases. She is active as a bilingual in Japanese and English and has participated in OffKai Expo, the largest VTuber event in the US.
On the other hand, Shuu Sakurai primarily uses Twitch and YouTube, gaining popularity through streams focused on interacting with fans under his pseudonym “Alien Boy.” His rich performances using a full 3D model and his versatile music endeavors are major attractions.
Local-Focused VTuber Event
The “Awa VTuber Fest” is a two-day event that connects the region with digital entertainment through music live performances and fan meetings. The live events will be held at three venues in Tokushima City, featuring music performances by over 30 VTubers. Additionally, fan meetings will offer a special opportunity to directly interact with multiple VTubers, aiming to share the appeal of Tokushima with VTuber fans domestically and internationally.
