The first e-sports event hosted by Osaka Prefecture, “Osaka GeN Scramble,” will take place from January 30 to February 1, 2026. In collaboration with this highly anticipated event, HAL Osaka Technical College will provide a variety of programs aimed at enriching the experience for participants.
Gaming Experience at HAL Osaka
At HAL Osaka Umeda Campus, experience events featuring popular games such as “Fortnite,” “Street Fighter 6,” “VALORANT,” “Puyo Puyo e-Sports,” and “Powerful Pro Baseball 2024-2025” will be held. Special Appearance by Nijisanji’s Himawari Honma
On January 31, popular VTuber group member Himawari Honma from “Nijisanji” will make an appearance. Her talk session will take place from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, making it a must-see event for e-sports fans.
Live Commentary by Esasubure
Furthermore, e-sports caster Esasubure, based in Kansai, will visit on February 1. He will provide live commentary during the gameplay of the event, heightening the excitement. His captivating commentary is sure to create a sense of unity throughout the venue.
Display of Student Works and Award-Winning Pieces
The main venue for “Osaka GeN Scramble” will showcase games and CG works created by HAL Osaka students. Particularly noteworthy are the award-winning pieces, including ‘octΩpus,’ which won the Grand Prize at the competition organized by Capcom Co., Ltd.. This will be an opportunity to showcase the creative talents of the students to a wider audience.
