THRUSTER Inc., in collaboration with Shogakukan Inc., has released a new service on the 3D virtual space platform “VIRTUAL LIVE ARENA (VLA)” where you can immerse yourself in VTuber live content in an XR space. As the first installment, popular VTuber Momo Kurumizawa will replay her “3D Debut 4th Anniversary Live” for free. This new content features close-range experiences and two-shot photography functions, providing fans with a more interactive and captivating experience.
Building a New Audience Base and Revenue Model
THRUSTER is using VLA to reconstruct existing live footage as “VR immersive experience content,” creating a new audience base. They are also enhancing collaboration with VTubers and IP holders as a platform for monetization through ticket and merchandise sales.
