LeGAME Co., Ltd. has announced that two members of its e-sports team “Arneb,” VTubers “Nekoshira Berun” and “Utsuki Kaguya,” will make their official debut starting from Friday, April 24. This marks the first debut from the project that LeGAME has been promoting to support e-sports through VTubers, with both members set to kick off their activities with an initial streaming relay on YouTube.
Introduction of the Two New Characters
Nekoshira Berun is a girl VTuber known for her trademark animal ears. She describes herself as having a unique character setting of “planning to create the Berun Kingdom,” with her birthday on August 21 and a height of 150 cm. Utsuki Kaguya, a rookie VTuber said to have come from the moon, has a comical profile featuring lines like “I love Earth’s e-sports culture” and “I came to work to repay my debts but got so caught up in the games that I can’t return to the moon.” Her birthday is September 25, and she is 148 cm tall.
Initial Streaming Schedule
The first stream will take place on April 24, 2026, from 20:00 to 21:00 for Nekoshira Berun, and on April 25, from 20:00 to 21:00 for Utsuki Kaguya, both on YouTube. Through this relay-style initial streaming, they aim to showcase the appeal of e-sports and the activities of Team Arneb across the nation. Both VTubers already have accounts set up on YouTube, X, and Twitch, and multi-platform activities are expected from the day of their debut.
Background of Team Arneb with Competitive Achievements
Arneb is an e-sports team that was established on January 17, 2022, and its name is derived from the star “Arneb” in the constellation Lepus. So far, they have accumulated notable competitive achievements, including being ranked third in the world in the Clash Royale division in 2023, participating in the COA World Championship for two consecutive years in the Identity V division and finishing as the runner-up in the 2024 Autumn Tournament, and reaching the semi-finals of the ALGS Americas Championship in APEX Legends in 2025. This VTuber debut is positioned as an initiative to extend the brand cultivated in the competitive scene into the realm of entertainment.
Impressions and Future Prospects
It is still rare in the industry for a regional e-sports team to produce its own VTuber, making this announcement feel promising in terms of the potential that arises from combining regions, VTubers, and competition. We look forward to how the competitive team’s passion will be amplified by the VTubers’ outreach in their future activities following the initial stream.
