Index
The idol VTuber group Love Box, belonging to the VTuber production, will host the YouTube streaming event ‘Aoharu Singing Relay’ on May 17, 2026 (Sunday). The call for participating talents is currently open until today, April 30 (Thursday) at 23:59, and the fan-involved selection method is attracting significant attention.
A singing event in a relay format with 30-minute segments
The ‘Aoharu Singing Relay’ is a YouTube streaming project that connects participants in a relay format, each segment lasting 30 minutes. This event, which is the second time Quinte has organized it, aims to create a space where participating talents and listeners can share the excitement together. The streams will be held on each participating VTuber’s YouTube channel.
To boost excitement, the official hashtag “#AoharuSingingRelay” has been established. There is also a call for viewers to support the performers with their impressions and messages during the stream.
Application for participating talents closes today at 23:59
The call for participating talents, which started accepting applications on April 23, will close today, April 30 (Thursday) at 23:59. You can check the details of the application procedure from the recruitment post on Quinte’s official X (formerly Twitter).
The design of selecting talents through fan participation reflects Love Box’s close connection with the community. Attention is expected to gather around the application post right up to the deadline.
Real live event “Twinkle Charm” to be held on May 9
In advance of the singing relay, a mini live event ‘Quinte Mini Live ~ Twinkle Charm ~’ has been confirmed for May 9, 2026 (Saturday). The venue will be Shinjuku DHNoA, with doors opening at 10:45 and the performance starting at 11:30. Tickets are currently on sale for 3,000 yen (tax included, with an additional drink fee of 700 yen).
As a group that promotes “idol VTubers you can meet,” they aim to deliver a unique experience that goes beyond streaming. The members are a five-member group including Momoki Milk, Hano Ciel, and Hana Eleanora, who just debuted on February 2, 2025.
Future developments
With the real live event on May 9 and the YouTube singing relay on May 17, major projects will follow each other as summer approaches. Additionally, the singing relay’s participant lineup will be determined through public applications, so attention is likely to remain focused on the application status and fan movements.
Thoughts and Outlook
The move by Quinte, which promotes “idol VTubers you can meet,” to consecutively launch live events and publicly recruited streaming events symbolizes a hybrid strategy of streaming and on-site experiences. The relay format that collects performers through public application has the potential to spread as a new model for VTuber live management involving the community, making it an initiative that cannot be overlooked when considering future industry trends.
