MetaSekai, a next-generation 3D VTuber production operated by VSTA Inc., has launched its “2026 Virtual Artist Audition” on May 15, 2026. Applications are open until Tuesday, June 30, 2026. The audition seeks female livers pursuing music activities with a Budokan live as their goal, and successful applicants will receive a dedicated 3D model and original music production support.

MetaSekai Aims for a Budokan Live

“MetaSekai” is a next-generation VTuber production focused on streaming and content creation built around music and 3D model utilization. Leveraging the wide-ranging full-body expression unique to 3D technology, it aims to deliver the appeal of its talents to a broader audience.

The operating company, VSTA Inc., was founded in September 2024 and develops talent management, e-commerce operations, and marketing support businesses. Its current talent roster includes “Otogi Rinne,” and Q&A videos and archived explanation streams about this audition are also available.

Eligibility and Application Requirements

The basic requirements include being a female aged 18 or over capable of continuing liver activities, being able to stream on platforms such as YouTube, and being likely to maintain regular streaming activity of 2 to 3 times per week or more. There is no age cap, and nationality is not restricted as long as the applicant resides in Japan and speaks Japanese.

Music experience (professional or amateur) is a mandatory requirement. Welcomed qualifications include experience as a VTuber, singer, musician, instrumentalist, dancer, or voice actor, live performance experience, and knowledge of 3D-related technologies such as VR content and full tracking. Applicants currently bound by exclusive contracts with other agencies are not eligible.

Post-Acceptance Support and Selection Flow

After acceptance, successful applicants receive a wide range of support including a dedicated original 3D model, original music production, support for various creative production, support for streaming and event planning, and a monthly activity stipend.

The selection process consists of four stages: document screening, a first-stage online casual interview, a second-stage online interview, and a final in-person interview in Tokyo. Travel expenses for the final stage are fully covered. Applications are accepted via the dedicated form on the audition special page within the official website.

“MetaSekai” has set a Budokan live as its long-term goal and is committed to fully supporting its affiliated talents.
