Asukanet Co., Ltd. has announced the “3rd Orizuru VTuber Fes,” a VTuber-meets-local-community event, to be held over two days on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30, 2026, in Hiroshima City. The first wave of 10 cast members has been revealed, and first-come ticket sales are already underway.

A 3rd Hiroshima edition: a large-scale festival connecting VTubers with the local community

“Orizuru VTuber Fes” is an event hosted by MapleMeet, a local-exchange VTuber project run by Asukanet. Built around the concept of “traveling Japan’s regions and bringing them to life,” it kicked off with a Hiroshima edition in 2024 and has since expanded VTuber events to Tokushima, Aichi and other parts of the country. This year’s event marks the third time it has been held in Hiroshima.

In addition to host Asukanet, four partner companies are listed: Chugoku Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (RCC), Miracle Mile Inc., Peperoncino Inc., and OpenHeart Inc. In a regional city where VTuber live concerts are still rare compared with the Tokyo area, the festival stands out as a large-scale event combining entertainment with sightseeing.

First wave of 10 VTubers revealed

The event will eventually feature around 27 VTuber and V-liver acts, with the following 10 names already announced as the first wave (titles omitted, no particular order).

The lineup is: Aise Riri, Itsuki Tsukasa, Utashiro Amane, Omurasaki, Sumineo Maru, Zettai Tenshi Kurumi, Natsume Minori, Mayui, Mikakunin Doubutsu Umapi and Momoruri Seiran — 10 acts in total.

Tickets are on sale on a first-come, first-served basis via LivePocket, and additional cast members will be revealed in a second wave and beyond.

Music lives, XR experiences, and immersive fan-meeting plans

The opening day on Saturday, August 29 runs from 12:00 to 20:00, with music lives at three venues in Hiroshima City featuring around 27 VTubers and V-livers. At the venues, fans will also be able to enjoy “Flower Cheer,” a participatory cheering service that displays boards with the sender’s name and a message to their favorite, and the “TAVIO – 3D Photo Booth,” which lets fans take two-shot photos in the same space as virtual characters.

On day two, Sunday, August 30, the “Marine de Meet” fan-meeting program takes place. Using VR goggles and the “Fukuu Live Stage Takumi” system, it offers immersive content where fans can chat and take photos with VTubers as if they were right in front of them.

Looking ahead: open call for performers for RCC’s “DTM Club” collab

An open call for VTuber performers tied to RCC TV’s music program “DTM Club” is also running in parallel. A slot has been set aside on the August 29 music live for selected VTubers, who will also appear on the program and perform an original song at the festival.
