WACTOR Opens Animax TV CM Slots for Illustrators via Online Lottery FAPON: 10K+ X Followers and 5+ Original Characters Required
Index
WACTOR Inc. has announced a new initiative aimed at illustrators on FAPON, the company’s online lottery service — the first of its kind from a VTuber agency. Participants who meet a set of conditions will be rewarded with the right to feature their original characters in FAPON’s TV commercials.
Key points
- What’s offered: The right to feature original characters in a FAPON tie-up TV commercial
- Requirements: 5+ AI-free original character works and 10,000+ followers on X
- CM airing: Scheduled on BS/CS TV channel “Animax” (other channels possible)
- How to apply: Contact WACTOR via the official form under “Illustrator: FAPON Collab”
FAPON’s CMs are built around a “collab-first” design
FAPON is an online capsule-surprise service operated by WACTOR, playable from smartphones and PCs, with no losing tickets and limited goods. Its 15-second TV commercials dedicate just 5 seconds to introducing the service, while the remaining 10 seconds (about two-thirds of the spot) go to illustrations and partners from the collab side — a structure WACTOR calls “collab-first.”
The video is built around five cuts: cut 1 introduces the service name, cut 2 explains that it can be played on smartphones and PCs, and cuts 3 through 5 cover the collab partners, the prize goods, and a group shot of original characters. Under this illustrator-focused initiative, the original characters submitted by applicants will be displayed side by side in the CM as standalone character art with no background.

Application requirements
To apply, illustrators must have at least 5 original character works produced without using generative AI, and at least 10,000 followers on X. Payments are made via bank transfer for domestic creators and PayPal for overseas creators. To apply, go to the WACTOR official contact form and select “Inquiry from IP holder / influencer / illustrator: FAPON Collab” as the inquiry type.
Compensation for FAPON collab work is performance-based, with the right to appear in a TV CM granted to all participants who reach a pre-defined individual target. WACTOR also notes that adjustments may be required if media standards call for changes to elements such as skin exposure.
FAPON is expanding into mass advertising too
FAPON has already purchased TV CM airtime on Animax, running spots around major anime programs and shows tied to large VTuber agencies. On top of TV, it is also rolling out mass advertising across digital billboards in commercial facilities, posters inside Akihabara, Ikebukuro, Shibuya and other Tokyo train stations, and web ads on YouTube, X and pixiv.
Past tie-ups include a collaboration with illustrator Aiba Aina, the 7th anniversary collab with CTW’s mobile game “Vivid Army” (a 118-item lineup), and sponsorship of the music festival “Nagano Aniella Festa 2025” — covering everything from VTubers, anime and live artists to game IPs.
Looking ahead: ongoing recruitment of IP holders and influencers continues
WACTOR is continuously recruiting collaboration partners for FAPON from IP holders and influencers across anime, games, books and other categories. The company says it offers some of the best conditions in the online lottery industry, including high-grade RY settings, custom-drawn illustration arrangements and Taiwan-market support. This illustrator-focused initiative extends that recruitment to individual artists as well, and it will be worth watching how applications develop and which creators end up featured in CM spots.
Takeaways
Opening up TV-CM exposure — a slot previously reserved for major IPs and influencers — to individual illustrators with 10,000+ followers on X is a fresh approach. By requiring that submitted work be free of generative AI, WACTOR is clearly signaling that it wants to attract illustrators with a distinct artistic voice, which could shift the relationship between online lottery operators and illustrators into mass-media territory. Depending on how the post-airing impact lands, the same model could spread to other lottery and EC services.
