ClaN Entertainment Inc. has announced that four first-generation talents from its globally-oriented VTuber project “IZIGENIA” will debut sequentially from May 23, 2026 (PST) / May 24 (JST). The new project will primarily operate in English, while also mixing in Japanese and other languages, to deliver Japanese culture from Japan to fans worldwide.

Launching as a global VTuber project born in Japan

“IZIGENIA” is a project that, following manga, anime, and games, develops “VTuber” as the next form of IP and broadens the possibilities of Japanese culture on a global scale. Built around the mission of creating “oshi” who can connect with fans across borders and languages on a virtual stage, the project will operate in English first while mixing in Japanese and other languages, creating new entertainment in which each talent shines as a one-of-a-kind IP.

The world setting is a sci-fi premise in which two factions — the Outriders and the Aliens — clash over “desire” and “evolution.” Each character is developed as an IP with its own individuality, and activities will center on global platforms led by YouTube and Twitch, primarily in English-speaking markets.

Debut stream relay schedule

The debut stream relay starts at 10:00 on May 24, 2026 (JST) / 18:00 on May 23 (PST). Two talents debut per day across two days, for a total of four. Ruridori Kafka debuts May 24, 10:00–10:30, followed by Sedric Alfiere at 10:40–11:10. The following day, May 25, Eruu Claymie debuts at 10:00–10:30 and Shao An at 10:40–11:10.

All four debut talents feature character designs by distinctive illustrators and Live2D riggers. Each talent’s X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube accounts have been live since before debut.

Future expansion to 3D live and virtual spaces

In addition to its global platform rollout centered on YouTube and Twitch, “IZIGENIA” is also aiming for broader expansion, including 3D live shows and virtual spaces in the future. Updates on upcoming activities are expected to be announced regularly via the official site and the project’s YouTube and X accounts.

Impressions and outlook

The trend of Japanese VTuber agencies expanding into English-speaking markets has accelerated in recent years, but new projects that brand themselves “born in Japan, built for global” from day one are still relatively rare. The choice of seasoned illustrators such as pako and Senzaki Makoto, combined with a unified sci-fi world setting, suggests a design strongly aware of sustained IP development.
