PANDORA Inc. has announced the debut of three first-generation members of its virtual talent project MARINA LYRICA: Hatsunami Puuru, Tamanami Uruma, and Suzunami Hitode. Starting with their first stream on Friday, June 5, 2026, the members will gradually begin their activities, offering immersive experiences such as a “3D Meet & Greet” that uses MR (Mixed Reality) technology to make it feel as if you are meeting the virtual characters right in front of you.

Three first-gen members debut in sequence from June 5

MARINA LYRICA launches with three first-generation members: Hatsunami Puuru, Tamanami Uruma, and Suzunami Hitode. The first stream begins on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 20:00 with Hatsunami Puuru and Suzunami Hitode, followed by the debut of Tamanami Uruma and others on Friday, June 12. TikTok LIVE is planned as the streaming platform.

Each of the three has already opened social media accounts, including Hatsunami Puuru and Suzunami Hitode, drawing attention to their activities even before their debut.

The “VTuber you can meet” experience powered by MR technology

A major feature of MARINA LYRICA is that it goes beyond streaming activities alone. Using MR (Mixed Reality) technology that overlays 3D imagery onto real space, the project plans to offer an immersive “3D Meet & Greet” experience that feels like meeting the virtual characters face to face.

PANDORA, the operator, upholds the mission “Let’s create a place to belong for someone, somewhere in the world,” and develops an “XTuber business” that fuses the concepts of talents (three-dimensional) and virtual talents (two-dimensional). This project embodies that philosophy.

A preview event in Akihabara and an appearance at SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026

Ahead of the full launch, Hatsunami Puuru held a preview event, “Marina Lyrica in Akihabara,” in November 2025. Built around the themes of “Meet,” “Talk,” and “Keep,” it offered one-on-one time with the VTuber, the experience of enjoying drinks together, and two-shot cheki photo sessions, letting fans take home a moment with the two-dimensional world as something tangible.

Furthermore, in April 2026, Tamanami Uruma and Suzunami Hitode took part in a booth exhibition at SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026, one of Asia’s largest innovation conferences, providing visitors with their unique immersive experience. These achievements have led up to this full-scale launch.

Looking ahead

Beginning with the first stream, the debut of Tamanami Uruma and others is set for June 12, and the activities of the three first-generation members will move into full swing. In addition to streaming, the project has announced the rollout of experiences where reality and virtual intersect, such as the “3D Meet & Greet,” and how their points of contact with fans will expand is drawing attention.

PANDORA is also strengthening recruitment alongside the launch of the business, signaling its intent to make XTubers mainstream. As the project grows, expectations are rising for announcements of new talents and projects.

Impressions and outlook

The concept of a “VTuber you can meet” is an attempt to present a new value—real, physical contact—to a VTuber culture that has centered on streaming. Projects designed around MR technology are still rare in Japan, and the key will be how naturally they can dissolve the boundary between the two- and three-dimensional. Given the track record built at Akihabara and SusHi Tech Tokyo, the experience design after their debut is well worth watching.
