Razer Japan K.K. has announced the “Razer Seiren V3 Pro,” a dynamic microphone that delivers professional-quality audio without complex setup. With 32-bit float recording, a built-in DSP, and dual USB Type-C / XLR connectivity, it caters to a wide range of users – from creators just starting out to experienced streamers. The suggested retail price is $249.99.

32-bit float recording for studio-quality sound

On Windows, the Seiren V3 Pro supports 32-bit float recording via Razer Synapse. This is a recording method also used in professional recording studios, made easy to access here so that its high-quality capture experience is within reach.

Compared with typical 24-bit recording, 32-bit float recording delivers a far wider dynamic range, capturing fine nuances even from loud or highly variable sources while suppressing clipping. The result is greater headroom and superior audio fidelity, easing the burden of editing and correction work after recording.

Built-in DSP, dual connectivity, and signature Chroma lighting

At the core of the Seiren V3 Pro is a built-in audio DSP that processes sound directly on the microphone itself, without relying on the host PC. With AI noise reduction, a compressor, a limiter, an expander, and more built in, it outputs clear, warm, broadcast-quality sound without plugins or additional processing.

Connectivity is dual USB Type-C and XLR, flexibly supporting everything from simple plug-and-play to a full-fledged XLR setup using an audio interface or mixer. It features a 30mm dynamic capsule with a cardioid polar pattern, covering the 50Hz-16kHz band. In addition, a Razer Chroma RGB lighting ring provides real-time visual feedback on gain level, mute status, and input peaks.

Built for long-term use, it adopts a zinc unibody construction with acoustic tuning that curbs the effects of vibration. A built-in shock absorber and a detachable pop filter reduce handling vibration noise and plosives (pop noise), and the included articulating arm mount with a vibration-damping mechanism lets you position it optimally.
