KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO has decided to take part in “VTuber Summer Slam 2026 (VSS),” an international charity event hosted by the U.S. nonprofit Gamers Outreach. Four artists – RIM, KOKO, KAKYOIN and HINAGESHI – will hold an approximately two-hour special charity stream from 23:00 on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

“VTuber Summer Slam 2026” and KAMITSUBAKI’s participation

VSS is a 10-day, large-scale charity marathon streaming event where VTubers from around the world gather to call for donations supporting hospitalized children. This year it runs from Friday, June 19 to Sunday, June 28, 2026.

Four artists from KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO will perform, livestreaming a special charity broadcast titled “Games for Every Kid: Charity Stream for Hospitalized Children” on their official YouTube channel from 23:00 on Thursday, June 25. The stream will be conducted mainly in English, with Japanese translation woven in.

Host organization Gamers Outreach and its work

Gamers Outreach is a U.S. nonprofit founded in 2007 that works to deliver playtime to hospitalized children through video games.

Its flagship project, the “GO Kart,” is a mobile kiosk unit equipped with a game console, monitor and controllers, designed to be wheeled right up to a child’s bedside. It is now deployed across more than 500 medical facilities in 15 countries worldwide, providing over 7.7 million gaming sessions a year. Donations gathered during this stream will go toward this work.

The four performing artists

Performing are RIM, a next-generation virtual singer who crosses genres and borders, and KOKO, who unleashes lightning-like long tones.

Joining them are KAKYOIN, a trilingual member of “Shinseiki from Shoujo Kakumei Keikaku,” and HINAGESHI, a member of “Zaijuubatsu from Shoujo Kakumei Keikaku” known for her edgy voice. All are artists well versed in reaching English-speaking audiences and in game streaming.

The stream schedule and points to watch

In addition to introducing Gamers Outreach, the stream will take on “Overcooked! 2” as a charity game challenge. You can watch the stream on the day and check the total donation meter on the campaign special site.

KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO has been active in reaching overseas audiences, including releasing English cover songs, and its participation in this international charity event can be seen as an extension of that effort.
