Award Inc. has announced “X VORDER RUNWAY,” a new kind of “fashion show × music live” event that crosses the boundary between the real and the virtual, to be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall. It is a world-first, top-scale event where VTubers, game/anime characters, and real-world artists perform together across dimensions, with priority lottery pre-sales for on-site tickets having opened at 3:00 p.m. on June 30.

“X VORDER RUNWAY” is an event that delivers dream collaborative performances by a star-studded lineup crossing scenes and dimensions, on a stage that fuses a fashion show with a music live. Holding a music live and fashion show simultaneously across three genres—VTubers, game/anime characters, and real-world artists—is a world first (according to the company). Performers will wear limited-edition costumes designed by Mika Pikazo and walk a real runway.

A Star-Studded Lineup Crossing Agencies and Dimensions in Dream Collaborations

From the VTuber world, the lineup brings together—beyond agency boundaries—Hoshimachi Suisei, who established her own agency in March 2026; HIMEHINA, currently on a solo world tour; Akami Karubi; Tachibana Hinano; Hoshikawa Sara; and virtual singer Kaf. From the game and anime world, Chun-Li from “Street Fighter 6,” Kujikawa Rise from “Persona 4 Revival,” and Amami Haruka, Kisaragi Chihaya, and Hoshii Miki from “THE iDOLM@STER” will appear. From the music world, Utaha (Wednesday Campanella) and Nanawo Akari are also on the bill.

Every Costume Designed by Mika Pikazo

All of the costumes worn by the performers are designed by Mika Pikazo, one of Japan’s leading illustrators. Having worked on designs for “Fire Emblem Engage” and VTubers such as “Kaguya Luna” and “Hakos Baelz,” Mika Pikazo adds a new element—fashion—to each performer’s appeal. The fashion designs are scheduled to be released later as a newly drawn key visual.
