PANDORA Inc. and L&L Victor Entertainment have launched TikTok LIVE streaming for the five main characters of their fan-participation IP project “IDOL:UnderCode” as of July 2, 2026. This new IP integrates anime, VTuber, and gaming within a shared universe, featuring a system where fan support directly shapes the story.

The Five Characters Now Streaming

The five characters who have begun streaming are: Kirishima Akane, the passionate leader driven by loyalty and grit; Shinonome Airi, who looks cool but is surprisingly airheaded; Hanamura Hiyori, known for her soothing singing voice; Asahina Matsuri, the energetic mood-maker who keeps things lively; and Sakakibara Sayo, who designs the stage with intellect and aesthetic sensibility. Each character has their own TikTok account and will interact with fans in real time.

Fan Support Drives the Story in This “Cyclical IP”

“IDOL:UnderCode” is a new IP project themed around the “light” of idols and the “undercode = darkness” behind the scenes. Real-time dialogue and fan enthusiasm on TikTok LIVE will be reflected in future storylines, short anime, music, live events, and game developments. Streaming is not merely promotional — it is positioned as the “main story” where characters meet fans and grow together.

The narrative follows the members of idol group “Kachou Fuugetsu,” centered around Kirishima Akane, as they navigate the interplay of light and shadow in the entertainment industry while aiming for the top.

Future Plans

The project plans a multi-faceted media mix centered on three pillars: anime, VTuber, and gaming. Relationships and episodes born through each character’s streams will expand into music, live events, merchandise, games, and animation. A casting audition for six new members is also currently underway, with applications open until July 31, 2026. The project previously drew attention for offering a guaranteed monthly stipend of 100,000 yen during training with zero upfront equipment costs.

Outlook

The “cyclical IP” model, where fan support directly shapes the story, carves out a unique position distinct from both conventional VTuber activities and traditional anime IPs. With PANDORA and L&L Victor Entertainment — two companies with different strengths — co-managing the project, and with a broad scope spanning anime, gaming, and live events, it will be interesting to see how this media mix takes shape.
