Digital Gear Inc., a company specializing in 2D and 3DCG video production, has announced it will exhibit at OffKai EXPO, North America’s largest VTuber-focused convention. The event runs from July 24 to 26, 2026, at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California.

What Is OffKai EXPO?

Now in its fifth year, OffKai EXPO is North America’s first and largest convention dedicated entirely to VTubers. The event brings together fans and convention organizers from diverse fandoms, and is widely recognized as a passion project run entirely by volunteers.

OffKai EXPO aims to celebrate and educate attendees about the subculture, technology, and performance art of digital and virtual content creation—positioning itself not just as entertainment, but as a platform for cultural development. In 2025, the event exceeded its projected attendance of over 5,000 visitors, and even larger turnout is expected this year.

Digital Gear Booth Details

At the Digital Gear booth, the company will host “V-Fes LIVE in OffKai EXPO,” organized by V-Fes, a platform connecting VTubers with their fans. Fourteen VTuber acts registered on V-Fes will participate, delivering live performances and meet-and-greets every day of the event.

All live events will be streamed in real time from Digital Gear’s in-house motion capture facility, Digital Lab Studio. Simultaneous YouTube streaming is also planned, allowing fans in Japan to enjoy the performances live. Merchandise sales are also scheduled at the venue.
