17LIVE Inc. will hold “V Daisai: 17LIVE V-Liver 8th Anniversary,” a real-world event marking eight years since the live streaming app 17LIVE launched its V-Liver genre, at Asakusa Hanagekijo on Friday, September 25, 2026. Admission is free, and an official stream will run in parallel on 17LIVE.

Turning Asakusa Hanagekijo Into a Japanese-Style Festival Space

The venue, Asakusa Hanagekijo, is a multipurpose hall operated by Hanayashiki, Japan’s oldest amusement park. It is known for hosting a wide range of entertainment, from productions blending traditional Japanese culture with contemporary culture to concerts by high-profile artists and combat sports events.

On the day, the hall will be decorated with paper lanterns bearing liver IDs and photo spots featuring a total of 111 livers, creating a full festival atmosphere. A stamp rally with prizes, a ring-toss booth and a message board are planned, along with distribution of novelty items exclusive to the event.

Comedy Duo Gurinpiisu Hosting the Official Program

The special program streamed on 17LIVE that day will be hosted by the two members of the popular comedy duo Gurinpiisu. Signed to Ohta Production, the pair formed in 2008 and were high school classmates.

The program will include variety segments featuring V-Livers and the release of a memorial video, giving those who cannot attend in person a way to join in on “V Daisai.” Scheduled stream appearances include Yuyu, Sakura Mahiron, Aone Hako, Shien Karuma-sama, Kusunoki Shio, Hida Marire, Happun and Sadataka.

Lineup Drawn From Top Finishers in the 17LIVE V-Liver Award 2026

The event brings together V-Livers who placed highly in the “Overall Ranking” and “Rookie Ranking” of the “17LIVE V-Liver 8th Anniversary” segment, held from January to June 2026 within the year-round “17LIVE V-Liver Award 2026.” Livers who won prizes in V-Liver-only online events through June will also take part.

17LIVE launched its V-Liver business in 2018 and has supported creators through streaming production, genre-specific campaigns, and expanded virtual streaming features such as “V Create Mode” and “17LIVE Anime Maker.” The company has consistently pursued real-world initiatives as well, having previously offered original V-Liver plush toys as crane game prizes.
