The final day’s centerpiece: the two-part “REJECT VALORANT CHALLENGE”

On Monday, September 21, the two-part special stage “REJECT VALORANT CHALLENGE” will be held.

STAGE.1, “REJECT SPECIAL MATCH,” runs from 13:30 to 14:20 and is a skirmish-format showmatch in which current and former REJECT members face off in “VALORANT.” Appearing are Dep, BRIAN, Koyama Shoya, Maripo, takej, Reita, Anthem, and Hals, with OooDa and Retloff serving as MCs.

STAGE.2, “REJECT Dep 1v5,” follows from 14:40 to 15:30, with Dep taking on “Team Daigo” — led by STREET FIGHTER division player Umehara — single-handedly against five opponents. Team Daigo consists of Umehara, YAS, Tachikawa, Soushihan KSK, and Bonchan. The matchup crosses divisional lines, and it will be streamed on REJECT’s official YouTube and Twitch.

The REJECT × GALLERIA collaboration corner, open throughout the show

A REJECT collaboration corner will be set up inside the GALLERIA booth for the duration of the show. The hands-on area for gaming device brand “REJECT GEAR” will have “Apex Legends” and “Street Fighter 6” available to play, and a collaboration PC photo booth recreating the world of REJECT VTuber Amaki Pururu will also be on hand.

In addition, there will be an early hands-on with the NURO gaming router and a giveaway of limited-edition Amaki Pururu stickers (while supplies last). REJECT and NURO are also working together on the TGS2026 official program “Beyond the Speed of Light!”, giving the partnership a presence both at the venue and on the broadcast. Details on the collaboration corner are covered in a separate release published on September 11, 2026.

About esports team “REJECT”

The logo of esports team REJECT

REJECT is an esports team founded in 2018. It fields the largest number of title divisions and has the most appearances at world championships of any team in Japan, and ranks first domestically in cumulative prize money. At the “Esports World Cup,” an international competition with a total prize pool exceeding 10 billion yen, REJECT has been selected for the Club Partner Program — limited to just 40 teams worldwide — for two consecutive years. Its roster includes players who represent their respective genres, such as Umehara in the STREET FIGHTER division and Dep in the VALORANT division.

Analysis and outlook

What stands out in this lineup is that competitive players, streamers, a VTuber, and management all share the same booth across eight stages. Cross-division formats such as Dep’s 1v5 work to cultivate “fans of the team” rather than only fans of a single title. Together with permanent exhibits like the REJECT GEAR hands-on area and the Amaki Pururu photo booth, it is a case of an esports team designing offline touchpoints on two tracks at once: product and character. Since almost every stage can be followed on stream by those who cannot attend, it will be worth watching whether the momentum of these five days carries straight over to online audiences.
