PocketReal Launches Official MR Streaming Platform on Oct 7 for Meta Quest 3/3S, Free Viewing App, Hundreds of Viewers per MR Live
PocketReal Inc. released the official version of its mixed reality (MR) streaming platform PocketReal (Pokeria) on October 7, 2026. Using Meta Quest 3 / 3S, viewers can enjoy VTubers and 3D characters as if they were right there in their own room. The viewing app is free, and streamer registration is now open.

Your Favorite Streamer, Now in Your Own Room
Until now, VTubers and characters have basically lived “inside the screen.” With PocketReal, MR technology displays 3D characters in the viewer’s real space, creating the experience of your favorite coming to visit your room.
The official version supports both MR live streams and MR content, and MR live streams can accommodate hundreds of viewers at the same time. The viewing app can be downloaded for free from the Meta Horizon Store, while some MR live shows and MR content are offered as paid experiences. PocketReal was first released as an alpha version in September 2025.
Streamer Registration Open for VTubers, Agencies, and 3D Creators
PocketReal is recruiting VTubers, VSingers, agencies, 3D creators, and others to deliver MR live shows and MR content. Both free and paid streams are supported.
VTubers who already have a 3D model only need a webcam and a PC to start streaming right away. A key appeal is that 3D debuts and 3D live shows can be delivered to fans’ rooms in full 3D. Registration is available on the new streamer registration page.
Tokyo Game Show 2026 Exhibit and What’s Next
PocketReal Inc. exhibited at Tokyo Game Show 2026, held in September 2026, showcasing the PocketReal MR experience on Meta Quest. At the booth, the character Mamehinata appeared in MR.
Going forward, PocketReal plans to work with VTubers and 3D creators as well as agencies, IP holders, 3D production companies, and motion capture studios to expand the MR live shows and MR content available on the platform. The latest updates are shared on the official X and YouTube accounts.
Our Take and Outlook
3D live shows have mostly been something you watch through a monitor. PocketReal turns the experience of inviting your favorite into your own room into an official service, expanding how VTuber streams can be watched. For independent VTubers who have gone 3D but have had few places to show it off, the ability to take part with just a webcam and a PC could be a welcome new option. It will be interesting to see how much content grows through partnerships with agencies and IP holders as Meta Quest 3 / 3S adoption spreads.
