Jupiter Corporation has announced that it will release a package edition of its Nintendo Switch title “Picross: Juufuutei Raden’s Pixel Museum” bundled with the DLC “Hakone Exploration Chapter” in December 2026 (planned). Two versions will be offered, a Standard Edition containing only the game software and a Collection BOX that comes with original merchandise, and orders for the Collection BOX opened on June 24.

A Package Edition Bundling the Main Game and the DLC “Hakone Exploration Chapter”

What is being released this time is a package edition of the main game that includes the additional content (DLC) “Hakone Exploration Chapter,” announced on May 17. Two versions will be offered for the Nintendo Switch: a “Standard Edition” with only the game software, and a “Collection BOX” that comes with original merchandise.

The Standard Edition is priced at ¥3,980 (tax incl.) and includes the main game, the DLC “Hakone Exploration Chapter,” and a reversible jacket. It is slated for release in December 2026 (planned), with the Standard Edition scheduled to open for pre-order at retailers from September onward.

The Made-to-Order Collection BOX

The Collection BOX is priced at ¥9,680 (tax incl.) and, in addition to the main game and DLC, bundles four original merchandise items and a box. It is sold on a made-to-order basis, with orders opening today, June 24, at the hololive production Official Shop.

hololive DEV_IS and What’s Ahead

Juufuutei Raden, who serves as the guide in this title, is a talent belonging to “hololive DEV_IS,” a VTuber group that operates under the themes of “growth” and “challenge.” Juufuutei Raden has previously developed projects such as a collaboration with The National Gallery in London, continuing a run of castings with a strong affinity for art and culture.

Detailed and up-to-date information is scheduled to be announced in stages on the package edition’s official site and on Jupiter’s official X account. Attention is also turning to when pre-orders for the Standard Edition will open.

The way a collaboration between “Picross,” a staple of puzzle games, and a VTuber has expanded into a package edition bundling DLC and even a Collection BOX with merchandise neatly captures the fan psychology of wanting to keep a digital work as a physical object. The design of taking advance made-to-order reservations for the Collection BOX at the official shop also makes sense as a way to make fan enthusiasm visible.
